A nice little Dinner

I flail a little. "I'm fine." I huff childishly.

I manage to not drop her from the sudden movement and lay her gently back down on the bed and place a soft kiss on her forehead "I'm glad your okay. What kind of man would I be if i let a girl get hurt in my own room."

I scowl a little at him. "I'm not a baby..." I say, pouting. "I'm already 19," I add.

"I never said you were. I'm a guy we feel protective over girls we like, It's only natural that i want to make sure your safe. Don't be mad at me okay? I'd feel bad if we got off on a bad note." i say as i continue to lean over her our faces only a few inches away.

I look away and blush. "f-fine." I say.

I flap my wings a little and flick my tail in delight at her reaction and then i slide into the bed until i'm lying next to Monochrome almost touching "So are you really 19? Don't get me wrong i love girls that look as small as you but i'd never have'd guessed 19."

I looked toward him, surprised at how close he was. "Mhm! I don't look like it, huh?" I ask giggling and blushing a little more.

I turn my head until I'm looking in her eyes and say "Not at all." i then move my hand that's between us until it's lying on top of her hand that's between us but I don't put any pressure on it. "I'm having a delightful time just lying here and talking with you. You very comfortable for me."

I blush deeply. "A-ah... You too." I saw, squeezing my eyes shut in embarrassment.

As i see her close her eyes I entwine our fingers and lean in close to her and place a soft kiss on her cheek and pull back slightly but i don't look away waiting for her to say something.

My eyes fly open. "A-ah?!" I say, stunned.

"Sorry" i whisper "I didn't mean to... well that is to say I should have asked how you felt before I did that." but I don't move back or loosen our fingers that are entwined.

I stare at him, unable to speak but blushing fiercely.

I continue to whisper following my instincts to kept this moment intimate "So what do you think? May I kiss you Monochrome or do you want us to lie here and just fell comfortable. It's completely up to you." and through out this I never break our eye contact.

I blush. "U-uh... How about we just talk?" I ask hesitantly, worried I may upset him.

I squeeze her hand slightly and say "If that's what you want then we can talk as long as you wish. Is there anything you want to discuss or should we just talk about anything?"

"I-I guess just anything will do." I say nervously.

"Are you enjoying yourself here at the school? Meet any good people?" i say as i shift my head to look upwards at the ceiling and close my eyes.

"Hmm," I think for a bit. "Well, I did meet you and Bastion!" I say cheerfully.

"That's nice" i say "how is he? He seemed a bit... odd but not in a bad way."

"He's nice." I say after thinking for a while.

"Is that so... well I'll have to get past that whole incident that happened in the library but that shouldn't be to hard." i say as i shift so that I'm on my side and not laying on my tail or wings anymore and look at Monochrome again "Thanks for trying to break that up it was very kind of you."

I smile. "I don't like fighting." I say simply.

"That's nice to hear" i say while sprouting my tail and using the tip to tease Monochrome's stomach almost unconsciously.

I giggle and curl into a ball. "Sto~p~" I say, batting my hand at his tail teasingly.
